International Day of Charity help bring our attention back and raise awareness for all the little way we can help. 5th September is celebrated as International Day of Charity and it was first introduced by the United Nation in 2012. It was first conceived as a “Hungarian civil society” initiative supported by the Hungarian government in 2011, to enhance visibility, organize social events in this way to increase, social responsibility, solidarity, public support for the charity. 5th September, the date was chosen to honor the anniversary of the passing away of Mother Teresa. It was established with the objective of sensibilize and mobilizing people, NGOs, and stakeholders all around the world to help others through volunteer and philanthropic activities. International Day of Charity is a part of 2030 Agenda on sustainable development which recognize that eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimension. One of the proposals of the UN is to achieve international co-operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character.
